Eesti Energia

Eesti Energia, using their sub company, Enefit seeks to be for Estonian oil shale kerogen mining globally what Suncor has been to tar sands in Canada and around the world. Eesti Energia is pursuing expansions of both oil from shale projects and electricity from shale-burning plants in Estonia. Today, using EE's technological processes, multiple countries are looking to develop either dirty, energy-intensive oil production or climate-intensive energy combustion through shale-fired power plants. EE may have the single largest impact of any corporation globally in terms of "creating new normals" in energy extraction.
